When you're moving with GoodGuys, you can add junk removal to your move. Just point to what needs to go. Our crew loads it, hauls it off, and disposes of it properly, so none of it ends up on the truck or left at your old place.
Just for Our Moving Customers
We've made junk removal a service exclusively for customers who are moving with us. That lets us give it the same care as the rest of your move instead of running it as a separate business. If you're booking a move, just let us know what you'd like hauled away, and we'll add it to your quote.
What We Take
Almost everything, including furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, boxes, yard waste, and general household items. The only things we can't take are liquids and chemicals, since they can damage our trucks. For paint, solvents, and cleaning chemicals, your county's hazardous waste program is the right route.
How It's Priced
Junk removal gets added right onto your moving quote, so there's no separate booking and no surprise bill.
Small items (lamps, chairs, small appliances): Priced by item
Large items (sofas, mattresses, dressers, large appliances): $100 for the first item, $75 for each additional item
Larger volumes (a full room, a garage, whatever's left after the move): Custom quote based on truck space used
A Lighter Load Is a Better Move
Getting rid of things you don't need means fewer items to pack, load, and unload, which can make your move faster and less expensive. And if anything gets left behind at your old home, we can take that too, so you can hand over the keys to an empty house.
What Happens to Your Stuff
Whenever possible, we sort items for donation or recycling instead of sending everything to a landfill. We can't guarantee what happens to every item, but we'll always try.
