GoodGuys Q2 Stats: Names, Numbers, and Stories From the Open Road

Every quarter we like to pull back the curtain and share what we actually did out there. Not marketing fluff — the real numbers, the long drives, the standout crew members, and the occasional move request that made us laugh. Here's what GoodGuys got up to in April, May, and June of 2026.

Buckle up. It was a big one.

171 Completed Moves Weighing 717,231 Total Pounds

We completed 171 moves in Q2, hauling a combined 717,231 pounds of our neighbors' belongings across the region.

How much is that, really? It's tough to picture 717,000 pounds, so here's some perspective: that's roughly 60 African elephants, or about 1.5 Statues of Liberty. Our crews carried the equivalent of a herd of elephants up and down staircases, through doorways, and into new homes — one carefully wrapped sofa at a time.

20,421 Miles Traveled Across 8 States

GoodGuys put 20,421 miles on the road in Q2, and we didn't stay close to home to do it. We worked across 8 states this quarter:

Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California.

While Atlanta and the surrounding metro will always be our home base, Q2 was a reminder that when our customers move somewhere far away, we're ready to go the distance — literally.

Myles Drove 4,503 Miles to California

Speaking of going the distance: one of our crew members, Myles, drove 4,503 miles to complete a move to California — the furthest road trip in GoodGuys history so far.

For a little context on what that actually involves: USDOT regulations mandate that a drive like this is a 4-day drive each way. That's a serious commitment behind the wheel. Myles knocked it out and got our customer's belongings safely across the country. That's the kind of dedication that defines this team.

We Visited 320 Different US Cities

Across all those miles and moves, GoodGuys touched down in 320 different US cities in Q2. The three cities we worked in most this quarter were Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Roswell — our core northern metro Atlanta service area.

And then there was the one that got away: somebody actually reached out asking us to handle a move to Stockholm, Sweden. As much as we would have loved to help, we had to break the news that we're not international.

Yet.

26 Different Movers Working With 41 Unique Partners

None of this happens without the team. 26 different movers wore the GoodGuys polo on Q2 jobs, and Miguel, Luis, and Myles logged the most moves of anyone this quarter.

We also worked alongside 41 unique partners in Q2 — realtors, staging companies, and corporations who trust us with their clients and their reputations. Those relationships mean the world to us, and we don't take a single one for granted.

28 New 5-Star Reviews

Q2 brought 28 new 5-star reviews, bringing our Google total to 105 reviews at a perfect 5.0 rating.

We say it every time because it never stops being true: we are constantly blown away by the support we receive from this community. Every review is someone taking time out of their day to vouch for us, and that trust is the entire reason we get to keep doing this.

What's Next: We're Going Monthly

Here's a change we're excited about. Instead of waiting a full quarter to share these numbers, we're moving to monthly stat updates from here on out.
