A New Year at GoodGuys: Gratitude, Growth, and What Really Matters
The start of a new year always invites reflection. It’s that natural human instinct to pause
and look back at where you’ve been, what you’ve learned, and where you’re heading. As we
step into this new year at GoodGuys, I wanted to take a moment to share a few thoughts, simply
as someone who’s been lucky enough to see this company grow and adapt from just about
every angle.
My name is Mark Tucker, and over the course of this past year, I’ve had the ability to
wear multiple hats at GoodGuys. I’ve been on work crews loading trucks during the hot Georgia
summer, filmed content, gone on long distance trips, and assisted in other in house projects.
Through it all, I’ve had a front row seat to experience the growth of this company. Seeing
GoodGuys operate from the inside-out have been some of the most rewarding times of my
young career. What stands out to me most isn’t how many moves we’ve completed or how
we’ve fared on paper, but how fast we were able to grow over the course of 365 days.
Moving is an incredibly personal experience. People aren’t just relocating furniture from
one place to another, they are completely transforming their lives. Family heirlooms, first
apartments and homes, new beginnings, and difficult goodbyes. When you’re on a crew and
someone hands you a box labeled “Family Photos” or “Fragile China,” you feel that
responsibility in a very real way. Those small moments throughout my mornings or afternoons
assured me that what I was doing did have significant meanings to the ones around me. It truly
reminds you that what we are doing is far beyond logistics and a finalized job.
One of the things that has made GoodGuys so special is that care isn’t something we
turn on for show, it’s baked into how we operate. I’ve watched our founders take countless
phone calls and meetings with the same warm approach and tedious care for each and every
customer that they encounter. I’ve witnessed our crew leads go above and beyond to service
the needs of our clients, whether it be vacuuming floors or hauling away extra junk free-of-cost.
We don’t operate this way simply because it feels right, but instead it’s something that has been
ingrained in us to carry throughout our day-to-day life because we truly understand that this
industry is so much more than just moving and storage.
As we enter this new year, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Gratitude for our
clients who have trusted us with their homes and belongings. Gratitude for our crews who show
up day after day with professionalism and great pride in themselves and this logo. Gratitude for
the everchanging and growing GoodGuys community that continues to support a local business
built on high values and “doing good.” Growth is exciting, and yes, we’re ambitious. But growth
has never been about being the biggest. It’s about being better. Better communication. Better
preparation. Better experiences. If we can continue to improve in these facets, everything else
will take care of itself.
2026 will bring fresh opportunities and new chapters, not just for us, but for the ones we
serve. No matter where the move may take us, it’s always an honor to play even a small role in
that transition. From all of us at GoodGuys Concierge Moving and Storage, thank you for being
a part of our journey thus far. We’re excited for what this year holds, and we’re committed to
continuing and strengthening the same care, integrity, and attention to detail that brought us for
far this past year.
Here’s to a new year, new beginnings, and moving forward together.
Mark Tucker, GoodGuy
